Manufacturer Description

Malaika is strong girl's name from Zambia meaning angel. The Malaika Collection is of the earth with tribal inspiration and strong natural elements. These earrings feature a hand-carved natural tagua seed (also known as vegetable ivory or palm nut), silver plate earring hooks, tears of job seeds and other design elements. Made by a budding artisan initiative in South Luangwa, rural Zambia. All Daraja Imports products are Fair Trade and handcrafted in Eastern and Southern Africa from local, sustainable and/or recycled material. The Malaika earrings pairs well with our Malaika Tagua bracelet.
